ATTENTION SENIOR PARENTS & GUARDIANS:
We are excited to announce that Graduation will take place on May 13 at 7 PM in the Te Ata Memorial Auditorium at USAO.
Additionally, we invite you to attend the Baccalaureate ceremony on May 4 at 6 PM at the Ninnekah First Baptist Church. Please note that attendance is optional. All seniors must wear their cap and gown and should arrive by 5:45 PM.
Cap and Gown/Class Pictures are scheduled for April 9. Order forms are available, so be sure to secure yours!

This past week, the 5th-grade and Kindergarten classes at our elementary school collaborated on an exciting reading project. The 5th graders partnered with the Kindergarteners to assist them in reading their books. We are proud to share that some of our Kindergarteners are already participating in AR testing!

Exciting news from Ms. Howard's farm-to-table classes—chickens have officially hatched! Students have been actively engaged in designing chicken coops, while also gaining valuable knowledge about chicken care, incubation processes, and various chicken breeds. This hands-on experience is enriching their understanding of sustainable farming practices.

On Thursday, April 3rd, seven Owls showcased their talents by participating in eight tests within the Gold Division (A-3A) at the annual USAO Scholastic Meet. Their hard work paid off as they proudly placed in four of these contests!

Before spring break, Ms. Howard's Farm-to-Table classes began an exciting gardening unit, and now, vibrant plants are flourishing in the garden.
School will be back in session tomorrow. We hope you had a wonderful Spring Break! The final nine weeks promise to be quite busy for the Owls.
ATTENTION JUNIORS AND PARENTS:
Ms. Howard's farm-to-table classes developed a unique wildflower memory game. The experience of learning about wildflowers concluded with an enjoyable game session alongside their kindergarten partners.
Senior Garrett Harrison has been chosen for Legislative Showmanship. This event allows our local legislators to interact with our students and gain practical experience with the values that OYE instills in the future leaders of the agricultural industry.
Last week, several middle school students participated in the Grady County Poster Contest for 4-H, and five of them earned awards! Isabella Prince secured 1st place in the intermediate self-determined category, while Gage Keeton took 2nd place. In the intermediate miscellaneous category, Bri Heflin achieved 1st place, Hinley Arterberry came in 2nd, and Alyssa Howell finished 3rd. Well done, Owls!
