The final days before Christmas Break were nothing short of tree-mendous!
The Holiday excitement began with our Owls getting a special visit from Cycle Santa December 8th, setting the tone for the festive days ahead.🎄 Throughout this week, everyone joined in spreading holiday cheer! Each grade in the Elementary took part in decorating the hallways, transforming the building into a winter wonderland complete with Christmas colors, handmade decorations, and plenty of creativity with the help of our amazing teachers. The Middle and High School students had some fun decorating Christmas trees!
Ninnekah Elementary Stucco made us proud to be Owls by coordinating a donation drive of socks and blankets with Miss Kaylee for the Ninnekah Senior Center. 🧦 Our High-School hosted Ninnekah’s annual Angel Tree this year, one of the most meaningful ways our Owls and residents give back to the community during the Christmas Season. Our favorite tradition! 👼🏼 🎁
Another one of the many highlights this week was when our Elementary students had their Christmas performance. Dressed in their best holiday outfits, they proudly showcased the hard work they've been doing with Mrs.Hammons, our music teacher.🥁 This week also marked the final days of our Find the Grinch game that was put on by Officer Goucher! A fun and silly way to end the season with laughter, teamwork, and a little friendly competition.
The fun wasn't just in the buildings! One of our beloved bus drivers, Mrs.Cyndi, threw a little Christmas Party with her bus riders this morning! 🚌 Our Superintendent Mrs.Jones climbed aboard to pass out some goodies too! To top it all off, students in each grade had Movie Day Friday, some well earned fun in their comfiest PJ’s! 🍿🎬
As we close our book on this amazing semester, we want to wish all of our students and their families a restful Christmas break and can’t wait to see our Owls refreshed and ready to go January 6th. 🦉 SEE YOU NEXT YEAR OWLS!

Ninnekah Archery hosted the Bullseyes & Butterballs Tournament on Saturday, welcoming 107 archers from Altus, Maysville, Shine of Duncan Homeschool, and Verden.
Our Ninnekah Archers were locked in and shooting strong, with several athletes earning new personal bests!
The team will travel to Maysville on December 5 for the Maysville Warrior Shootout, and then we’re back home on December 12–13 for the Ninnekah Archery Holiday HOOTenanny, where we expect to host around 500 archers over two exciting days!
