Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁

Ninnekah Archers took the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Hunters Education Course on Saturday.
Hunters Ed is mandatory for all archers 10 & up.
Thank you Officer Moore for coming to class to demonstrate firearm safety.

We will be out of school for Thanksgiving break this week. We wish all our students and staff a wonderful time spent with their loved ones. At NPS, we are truly grateful for each and every one of them.

The Owls are consistently making progress with every game they play.

On Wednesday, 11/20, Youth Action for Health Leadership (YAHL) did a site visit to NHS to sign up students to be part of their leadership team. YAHL partners with schools, clubs, and community organizations across Oklahoma to tackle important issues related to public health and policy.
They will return on Monday, December 2nd, to do a day of training for high school students who are interested in joining. Students may either sign up online through YAHL or obtain a paper permission form from Mrs Phillips.

On Saturday, 11/16, the NHS Academic Team competed in their Regional competition in Sterling - and came in 2nd place! They will advance to the Area competition in January.

Several of our 7th-grade 4H students achieved recognition in last week's Grady County STEM contest, specifically in the digital slideshow competition. In the PowerPoint Junior category, Gunner Wenzel secured 2nd place, while Rolan Parker and Wyatt Gassaway tied for 3rd. In the PowerPoint Senior contest, Addisen Adams took home 3rd place, Espen Pyle earned 4th, and Camden Ledford finished in 5th. Great job, Owls!

Our Angel Tree is up and ready for people to stop by and pick out an Owl to help out this Christmas! The tree is located in the Admin hallway. Please bring unwrapped gifts to Mrs Phillips' room before Wednesday, December 18th.

Ninnekah Public Schools expresses thankfulness for our students, their families, friends, and our dedicated staff. We had the wonderful opportunity to share a lovely lunch with those who matter most to us.

There are some changes to this week's basketball schedule.

Don’t forget to prepay and get with your building secretaries for meal times.
