‼️Attention ‼️
This afternoon, the State Board of Education voted to close all Oklahoma schools, effective immediately, until at least April 6th in an effort to minimize the spread of COVID-19. This means, following Spring Break, Ninnekah students will not return to school until at least April 6th, possibly longer, if health officials deem it necessary.
Prom will be rescheduled.
No extra curricular activities during the shut down including practices.
Next week is Parent/Teacher Conferences. The HS and MS conferences are come and go on two nights, Tues 3/3 and Thurs 3/5, 3:30-6:00. Elementary conferences are scheduled with the teacher. There will also be No School on Fri 3/6, Fri 3/13, Spring Break 3/16-3/20, and Fri 3/27.
The NHS Owls and Lady Owls basketball teams both won their games yesterday and are going to play in the second round of Regionals today in Dale beginning at 1:30. If they win, they will play again tomorrow for a chance to move on. Congrats Ninnekah and good luck! Be Unstoppable!

Ninnekah FFA Cake Auction & Calf Fry is at the Grady County Fairgrounds tonight, Tues 2/18, from 6:30-10:00pm.
The Elementary Spelling Bee location has been changed to the Gym on Wed, Feb 19th, at 9:00 AM.
Next week's HS basketball game schedule:
Monday, Feb 17 NHS vs Rush Springs at 6:30 at Ninnekah. JH homecoming festivities will be at 6:00. Little Dribblers will play at halftime of games.
Tuesday, Feb 18 NHS vs Dibble at 3:00 at Ninnekah.
Tonight's HS Basketball contest will not be played because of a community tragedy in Rush Springs this afternoon. We will have our Senior Night festivities at 6:00pm as scheduled. Dates & times for makeup game will be released later.
VOTERS OF NINNEKAH: The Ninnekah School Board primary election, scheduled for Tuesday, February 11th will NOT take place because there are only two (2) candidates running, Russell Baker & Dustin Tate. Voters will go to the polls on Tuesday, April 7th to cast their ballots for the school board member of their choice.
Ninnekah boys draw a bye first round of district. We will play Saturday, Feb. 22 at 8:00pm in District finals against winner of Luther-Healdton at Luther.
Ninnekah girls will play Healdton on Friday, Feb 21 at 6:30pm in first round of district at Luther. Winner will play Luther at 6:30pm Saturday, Feb 22 at Luther.
Remember that there will be No School on Fri 2/14, and Mon 2/17. Any Valentine's deliveries should be made on Thurs 2/13 instead as follows: PK-5 to Elem Office, 6-8 to MS Office, and 9-12 to the Supt Office. Thank you.

HS Basketball TIME CHANGE TODAY! Varsity girls will start at 3:00. Varsity boys will follow. Just confirmed. There will be no JV games or Little Dribblers because of the time change. Bray-Doyle superintendent said 4:00 was too late to get their players & coaches home safe, thus the earlier start.
There will be NO 7-8th GIRLS GAME THIS EVENING (2-3-20) AT Alex. 7-8th boys will start at 5:15pm, followed by JH girls & JH boys.
