Luke Tate and Kate Holland, FFA State Qualifiers

Two Ninnekah FFA students recently qualified to compete in the upcoming 2022 State FFA competitions.

Luke Tate, a junior at Ninnekah High School, qualified for the Southwest area speech contest last week, and then competed again Monday, April 18, 2022, and placed 1st out of ten securing a spot to compete in the state Extemporaneous Speech contest this Friday evening, April 22nd.

Kate Holland, a freshman at Ninnekah High School, placed in the top eight in the state in the Agricultural Education Career Development event for a lesson plan that she entered to be judged. She will compete Saturday, April 23, 2022, for the State FFA Championship title by teaching a lesson about the goat industry.
