Clay Chaney, son of Mark and Gereldene\r\nChaney, graduated from Ninnekah High School in May of 2014. Clay passed away at\r\nthe young age of 22 in May of 2017. Clay\r\nwas such a light that shined so bright. He was always smiling and the first to\r\nlend a helping hand whenever it was needed. The Clay Chaney Memorial Scholarship\r\nFund was established to be a blessing and help Ninnekah students achieve their\r\ndreams.
\r\nEach year, the Clay Chaney Memorial Scholarship\r\nis awarded to one senior and one FFA member at Ninnekah High School. This year’s\r\naward winners were seniors Bruce Trammell and Lane Bailey. Both seniors will\r\nfurther their education this fall, Trammell at Oklahoma State University in\r\nStillwater and Bailey at Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City.
