Today marked a monumental day for Ninnekah Public Schools as students, staff, families, and community members gathered together to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of our brand new basketball gymnasium. This project represents far more than a new building, it symbolizes growth, resilience, pride, and the continued investment in the future of our students and community.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our Ninnekah community, Renaissance Architecture, Joe D. Hall Construction, and First National Bank & Trust Co. for helping make this dream a reality. Their partnership and support have helped provide our students with a facility that will serve generations of Owls to come.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was made even more special as our beloved Mrs. Trula had the honor of cutting the ribbon in front of the entire school district, from elementary through high school students. It was a meaningful moment that brought together the past, present, and future of Ninnekah. Seeing all of our students gathered together to witness this milestone was a reminder of how strong and connected our school community truly is.

Following the ceremony, students, staff, and guests were invited to walk through the gym and experience the new facility for themselves. Excitement filled the gym as everyone took in the beautiful new space that will soon be home to countless games, pep rallies, practices, memories, and celebrations.

For a small school, this gym stands as a huge accomplishment and a reflection of the pride we have in rebuilding and continuing to strengthen Ninnekah. Our students deserve a place where they can compete, grow, celebrate achievements, and take pride in representing their school and community. We are incredibly proud to provide them with a facility that reflects just how important they are to us.

This celebration also comes at a perfect time, as we prepare to watch the Class of 2026 graduate in the new gym this Saturday. What a special and unforgettable way to begin a new chapter for both our school and our seniors.
