Our elementary Owls enjoyed a special visit from Officer Goucher Thursday during Red Ribbon Week! He spoke with students about the importance of making safe choices and reminded them to only eat or drink things they know are safe and approved by a parent or guardian.

They were also surprised with a visit from local firefighters! Students learned what to do in case of a fire, watched the firefighters demonstrate how they use their water hoses, and even got to climb inside the fire trucks, complete with honking the horns! The visit wrapped up with each student receiving a special goodie bag to take home.

We’re so excited for Halloween tomorrow! Please remember no weapons, no fake blood or gore, and face coverings are ONLY allowed while trick or treating the halls! We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up!
