The Lady Owls played a 3-way at Alex on Monday and got great pitching and defense to open the conference schedule 2-0. 

The night began with a 5-0 victory over Rush Springs. Mackenzie Jerdee didn't allow a single run and just one hit.

Ninnekah opened up scoring in the first inning.  Gracie Burgess grounded out, scoring one run. They then scored three runs in the third inning.  The offensive firepower was led by Areaunna Tucker, Kaitlin Ramsey, and Raegen Robinson, who each had RBIs in the inning.

A double by Brady in the first inning was a positive for Rush Springs.

Jerdee got the win for Lady Owls. She allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking zero.

Abbott took the loss for Rush Springs. She surrendered five runs on six hits over four innings, striking out two.

Ramsey went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Ninnekah in hits.  The Lady Owls didn't commit a single error in the field. Robinson had  seven chances in the field, the most on the team.

The nightcap was also a Ninnekah win 7-1 over Alex. Four runs in the fourth inning led Ninnekah past Alex on Monday.  Ninnekah scored 3 of its runs on an RBI triple by Mackenzie Jerdee.

Jerdee earned the victory in the pitcher's circle. She surrendered one run on one hit over four innings, striking out six.  Jerzie Baker threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

C. Werner took the loss for Alex. She lasted five innings, allowing nine hits and seven runs while striking out eight and walking one.

Ninnekah saw the ball well today, racking up nine hits in the game. Jerdee, Kaitlin Ramsey, and Baker each collected two hits.  The Lady Owls were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Jayah Rodriguez made the most plays with six.
