Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Ability to remain calm and supportive in student situations

Previous school or office experience preferred

A High School diploma is required.

Background Check:

You must undergo a criminal background check, including a fingerprinting process through the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).

This is required to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Serve as the school’s welcoming point for students, families, and visitors.

Manage phones, emails, and family inquiries promptly and professionally.

Greet and sign in visitors while enforcing safety and security procedures.

Communicate daily with families about attendance, transportation changes, and student needs.

Assist young students with check-ins/outs, finding classrooms, and contacting caregivers.

Maintain accurate student records (enrollment, withdrawals, cumulative files) and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.

Monitor and record attendance; notify families about absences and tardies.

Provide basic first aid and care for minor illnesses until the nurse or parent arrives.

Support the principal, teachers, and staff with front-office operations and scheduling.

Prepare newsletters, announcements, and parent communications.

Schedule meetings, conferences, events, and maintain office/administration calendars.

Operate office equipment and manage inventory of office and student supplies.

Collect and track payments; keep organized financial records and receipts.

Assist with purchase orders and ensure adherence to district policies.

Coordinate school events, field trips, substitute coverage, and classroom activities.

Support arrival/dismissal procedures and transportation coordination.

Follow safety protocols for check-in/check-out and support emergency procedures and drills.

Maintain confidentiality and build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.

Substitute Teachers

Requirements:

High School Diploma is required.

Non-Certified $75.00 per day

Certified $90.00 per day

Job Responsibilities:

Follow and implement the lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher

Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment

Provide instruction and supervise students in accordance with school policies and procedures

Take attendance and complete any required reports or documentation

Communicate with school staff about any issues or concerns that arise during the day

Ensure the classroom is left in an orderly condition at the end of the day

Uphold school rules and reinforce appropriate student conduct

Supervise students during non-instructional times as needed (e.g., lunch, recess, transitions)

Substitute Bus Driver

Substitute applicants are encouraged to visit the Administration Office at 810 E. Dell St, Ninnekah, to collect an employment packet.
