Coaches: Shawna Norman, Destinee Foust
My Name is Shawna Norman and I have been teaching English for two years. My Husband Tommy and I have 5 children and while not all of them attend Ninnekah, our son graduated from here and one of our daughters currently attends Ninnekah's Middle School. While I maybe new to school sanctioned sports, I have actually been fortunate to be able to coach my daughters softball teams for the last eight years. What I have learned while coaching at Ninnekah is that we have an amazing core group of students that truly love this sport and work hard not only while they were on the field with me but also on their own time. I think this year has been extra special because our girls won their 2nd District Championship. I believe the experience of coaching this year has taught me how hard our players work, their commitment to being better and how they support each other. I honestly could not have asked for a better group of players to have this year!
My Name is Destinee Foust I have been working as an aid/para for eight years, I have been coaching Softball for 7 years. I have lived in the surrounding area most of my life but graduated from El Reno High School where I played Softball. We competed for state title's my Soph, Jr and Sr year. I received a D1 scholarship offer from Central Connecticut State University but injured my arm. I have enjoyed my years coaching softball! We have a group of very hard working athlete's!
